Associate Professor Saša Potočnjak, PhD (University of Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), a researcher on the FEMIGLA project, conducted a two-day field research in Zagreb on 19 and 20 January 2026.

She examined the historical documents of the former early modern Custody of Rab, which included the monastery in Istria (Labin) and the northern Adriatic islands (Krk, Cres, Rab), in the archive of the Croatian Province of St. Jerome of the Franciscan Conventuals at Sveti Duh in Zagreb.

This collection is significant because it contains thorough inventories of the monasteries and sheds light on the Glagolitic heritage in the local communities where the Conventual Franciscans were active. As could be expected, women in these local communities were also affected by this content.
