Presentation in Zadar about misogynistic texts

Associate professor Dolores Grmača, PhD (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb), a project FEMIGLA researcher, participated in the international conference Zadar Philological Days 11: Language, Literature and Culture – Native and Other Languages (Croatian: Zadarski filološki dani 11: Jezik, književnost i kultura – materinski i ini jezici).

The conference was held on 5–6 March 2026 at the University of Zadar.

She presented a paper titled Misogynistic Texts in Croatian Pre-Modern Literature Between East and West as a part of a panel addressing the tri-literal and trilingual Croatian literature.

The presentation included medieval and early modern Glagolitic and Cyrillic texts with overtly misogynistic sentiments.
