“Showing their true colours” at the Day of art history in Zagreb

On March 11, 2026, Faculty of humanities and social sciences in Zagreb hosted the Day of art history in remembrance of the University of Zagreb’s first art history lecture, which was given on March 11, 1878.

The FEMIGLA project exhibition Showing their true colours – female figures on miniatures in the medieval Croatian Glagolitic manuscripts was presented as part of the program.

The exhibition was created by art history students under guidance of full professor Sanja Cvetnić, PhD, a researcher on the FEMIGLA project.

At the Day of art history, the exhibition Showing their true colours was presented by students Buga Kranželić, one of its authors, and Franka Puharić, its designer.
