On May 29th 2025 in Split (Croatia), the principal investigator of the project FEMIGLA, Dr. Ana Šimić, held a lecture on the most mentioned woman in the Croatian Glagolitic texts titled Virgin Mary in Croatian Glagolitic history.
Among other topics covered in the talk were the millennial Marian devotion of Croatian Glagolites, literary and liturgical works that illustrate Glagolites’ image of Mary, and Glagolitic organizations and societies that had Mary as their patroness.
The lecture was organised on the occasion of the 1100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom by the Association Teofil and Franciscan Convent of Fray Ante Antić.
