Ana Šimić, PhD, principal investigator of the project FEMIGLA, participated in the international conference Mediteran kao identitetska odrednica: jezik, književnost, kultura i novi mediji 2, held on November 7 and 8 in Split.

She presented a research on Mother’s milk in the written Glagolitic culture, in which she examined what was written about mother’s milk in both the Pre-Tridentine Glagolitic texts and the folk medicine book of Glagolitic origin.

Another collaborator on the FEMIGLA project was also at the conference. Giorgio Ziffer, a full professor at the University of Udine, gave a plenary lecture titled The Literary Civilization of Slavia Christiana and the Croatian Glagolitic Tradition.
