FEMIGLA project researcher Dr. Ana Mihaljević participated in the 16th International Conference on Historical Lexicography and Lexicology (ICHLL 16), held in Caen (France) from 24 to 26 June 2026.

ICHLL is the leading international conference in the fields of historical lexicography and lexicology. It is held annually or biennially at different universities and is organized by the International Society for Historical Lexicography and Lexicology (ISHLL). This year, the conference was held at the University of Caen, Normandy.

In her presentation, Representing Women in Historical Dictionaries: The Case of Croatian Church Slavonic, Dr. Mihaljević presented the preliminary findings of her research on nouns denoting women in Croatian Church Slavonic, with particular emphasis on their lexicological and lexicographical treatment and the challenges associated with their description.
