FEMIGLA project member Dr. Ana Mihaljević presented her paper at the 11th Skok’s Etymological and Onomastic Meeting (Croatian: 11. Skokovi etimološko-onomastički susreti), held in Mali Lošinj from October 16 to 18, 2026. This is the central Croatian conference dedicated to etymological and onomastic topics. It takes place every four years and is named after the prominent Croatian etymologist and onomastician Petar Skok (1881–1956).
Dr. Mihaljević presented a paper titled Female Names in Croatian Glagolitic Liturgical Texts, in which she shared research on female names found in Croatian Glagolitic missals and breviaries. The presentation included an inventory of these names, an analysis of their origins, the contexts in which they appear, and the way they were adapted from the source languages into Croatian Church Slavonic.
