The paper Masculine and feminine pairs and social stereotypes in the grammars written before and during the Croatian National Revival and in historical lexicography (Croatian: Mocijski odnosi i društveni stereotipi u dopreporodnim i preporodnim gramatikama te u povijesnoj leksikografiji) is written by Marijana HORVAT, PhD and Ana MIHALJEVIĆ, PhD (Old Church Slavonic Institute), collaborator on the FEMIGLA project.

Summary
The paper presents certain specific features of the description of feminine and masculine pairs word formation in the grammars of Juraj Križanić (1665), Matija Antun Relković (1767) and Antun Mažuranić (1859), as well as selected feminine and masculine pairs in the dictionary of Faust Vrančić (1595), the manuscript dictionary of Bartol Kašić, and the dictionaries of Jakov Mikalja (1649), Juraj Habdelić (1670), Pavao Ritter Vitezović (?), Ardelio Della Bella (1728), Ivan Belostenac (1740), Andrija Jambrešić (1742), Blaž Tadijanović (1761), Joakim Stulli (1801, 1806 and 1810), Josip Voltić (1803), Bogoslav Šulek (1874/1875), Dragutin Parčić (1901), Franjo Iveković and Ivan Broz (1901) and in the so-called Academy Dictionary (1880 – 1976). Some derogatory terms and social stereotypes that are reflected in the lexicographic description of certain concepts and words are also mentioned.
